| The big question for the last couple weeks has been, "when will it be?" Now the speculation can end. Juniors and seniors from Chagrin Falls High School held their annual pumpkin roll Thursday night and, according to reports, it was another success. Each year, the students turn Grove Hill into a slippery orange slope by covering it with pumpkins. They then slide down like it's a snow-covered hill in the winter. This tradition dates back to 1969. Every year, footage from the event airs on Cleveland's local news stations. Footage from the 2004 Pumpkin Roll shot by former student Ryan Luby appeared on ESPN as number eight on the “Not Top 10 Plays of the Week”. This drew national attention towards the big event.
