Practicum!
During the academic session, all students participate in a Newborn and Toddler Practicum with a local family. At minimum, the family will have a newborn infant and a toddler between the ages of 2 and 4 years. This practicum allows students to utilize the techniques learned in the classroom with children giving them hands-on experience in the profession.

Healthy Cooking!
Students are taught that children just need a little inspiration to try new things. Our students can play a role in how a child eats and are provided with healthy cooking techniques and recipes.

Etiquette Lunch
A general knowledge and use of elegant etiquette makes a dining experience pleasant for everyone. Our students are taught a command of basic table manners and dining etiquette which is especially useful for formal affairs and eating in exclusive restaurants.

Mixed Martial Arts
Today's environment requires that our students have an astute sense of their surroundings. Kung-fu is an art that entails not only self defense skills but also teaches about mind and body and how one can grow in all aspects of life. Jiu-Jitsu, translates as the "art of softness", or "way of yielding", is a collective name for Japanese martial art styles. Because striking against an armored opponent proves ineffective, students learn efficient methods for neutralizing an enemy with forms of pins, joint locks, and throws. Techniques develop around the principle of using an attacker's energy against him, rather than directly opposing it.
